WHO WE ARE...

Sweet Spot is a brand created by Deanne in late 2018 as an antidote to the negativity, divisiveness and chaos of the world. The philosophy is simply to get back to basics when a party was about bringing people together to find community, acceptance, happiness and JOY through the common denominator of music. There was no better example of that than in the days of disco and early house music. A carefully curated selection of performers, design elements, venue aesthetics, atmosphere and, of course, MUSIC combine to create a VIBE reminiscent of that time. To develop this concept, she enlisted the help of a small group of seasoned artists/DJs, event producers and nightclub professionals to form Sweet Spot Nightlife, LLC. In just a short period of time, Sweet Spot has been featured as an event within Winter Music Conference, Chicago Pride, Joining Hearts Weekend Atlanta and Miami Beach Pride with other successful stand-alone events in Miami and Indianapolis.

Founder, Co-Creative Director and one half of the Sweet Spot DJ duo, Deanne has been pleasing enthusiastic clubbers for 20 years and is more passionate than ever about bringing the party to life and her music to the masses. Hailing from Indianapolis, Deanne enjoyed long-running residencies at local venues and on internet stations like EnergyRadio.FM, FusionChicago, PartyRadioUSA, WeDanceAs1, GayInternetRadioLive (G.I.R.L.) and FGRadioUSA creating a global audience. Looking to expand her audience stateside and catapult her career, Deanne relocated to South Florida in late 2013 and devoted all her energy to her DJ career. Since then, Deanne has secured headlining appearances with WE Party, One Magical Weekend, Winter Party Festival, Peach Party, Atlanta Pride, Miami Beach Pride, Gay Days, White Party Week Miami, IML (Chicago), Distrkt C, Reload (LA), Purple Party, Dallas Pride, Circuit Saturday (Denver), Gus Presents, and Joining Hearts (Atlanta), to name a few. Deanne also has regular appearances at legendary clubs, Crown & Anchor, The EndUp, Hydrate, Manhole, Jungle, Xion, Heretic, The Cuff, Pavilion, Score, Heart, The Manor, Rich’s Houston and more. As a Producer and #1 Billboard Remixer, Deanne is also making music to move the masses. With recent releases on record labels like Queen House Music, Pump Records, Hammer Music, Big Mouth Music, Gonna Be Records and more, Billboard Dance Chart topping remixes and support from colleagues and tastemakers, Deanne's unique sound is pumping through venues and parties all over the world. 

Co-Creative Director, partner in crime and the other half of the Sweet Spot DJ duo, DJ Pride is a consummate music lover, passionate artist with a rich musical history and a sound that is rooted in the foundations of house music. A native of New Jersey, Pride's first nightlife playground was NYC. It provided her with a club education and access to many of the influences that have shaped her. Since her move to Miami Beach in the early 2000's, Pride has entrenched herself into the Miami scene on many levels, most notably as the co-creator and resident DJ of the infamous underground house music party Creme & Sugar. Pride’s resumé is boosted by appearances at legendary venues such as Roxy, Cielo, Pavilion, Space, Twilo Miami, Crobar, Hydrate, Manhole, The End Up, and Score. And she has played events including Gay Days, Market Days, Winter Party, White Party Miami, Saga, Action Afterhours, Trade and Toronto Pride.
